Doloris is the product of my personal experience living with chronic pain and my education at the world’s leading pain research institution.

You are ever changing, and so is Doloris.

People are best able to control their pain when they are empowered with the knowledge of the subtle cause-and-effect relationships that can aggravate or relieve pain symptoms. At Doloris, we are giving you this information in an easy to understand format that can help you take control of your pain story.

I invite you to join our beta testing waitlist and contact us to provide feedback so that we can better serve your needs.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Hannah

Hi, I’m Hannah.

Our approach

At Doloris, we are addressing the gender gap in pain care.

Several pain conditions occur more frequently in women than in men. For instance, fibromyalgia (a disorder marked by chronic widespread pain) disproportionately affects women, who account for approximately 80–90% of diagnosed cases. Diagnoses for other conditions like endometriosis can take up to 10 years. This is in part due to a lack of sufficient data tracking.

What began as a passion project has evolved into something more. Supported by Engine, the Clinical Innovation Platform (CLIP), and others, we are now based at the Alan Edwards Centre for Research on Pain (AECRP) at McGill University. We have raised over $80,000 in nondilutive funding to date and have several partner institutions.

When developing Doloris, our team has kept some guiding principles in mind:

Lived experience leads

Through every step of development, we've kept patient advocates and end users in the driver’s seat. If you want to join our work, we are eager to hear from you. Join our advisory board!

Introspection provides power over pain

Understanding your experience is the first step toward gaining control. Because pain is deeply personal—shaped by biological, psychological, social, and cultural factors—effective pain care must be personalized.
